Our diverse population of students from all faiths and all walks of life are prepared academically and professionally to serve patients and their families in communities as competent and compassionate professional registered nurses.
In 1990, we transitioned into a College of Nursing, extending our legacy that was established in 1903 by our founders, 圣十字修女会. 今天, in our 117th year of providing excellence in nursing education in the Catholic tradition, we are building on this legacy through our Journey to Transformation.
This Journey ensures – through research and strategic planning – that our 理学学士 in Nursing degree remains cutting edge, pursued by our traditional four-year students, as well as through our highly sought Second Degree Accelerated Program and our extremely successful Online RN-BSN完成计划. As part of our commitment to continual quality improvement, we have enhanced our innovative Graduate Program and now, our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) offers a unique immersion experience that allows students to specialize, to earn evidence-based practice certification and to graduate in just 18 months. MCCN’s affiliation with 三位一体的健康 nationally and Mount Carmel Health System locally offers students advanced clinical learning opportunities at four hospitals and various ambulatory sites throughout central Ohio and beyond.
